TIDENHAM district councillor Gethyn Davies (Con) believes developers are throwing schemes together to build houses on all the available green spaces in the Forest. He said: "I have six villages in my ward and it seems that each of them could be facing the prospect of having an additional 100 plus houses built in their community. "In many cases it could mean the green strip that separates these communities being built on, ending the uniqueness of each settlement. "There is little in the way of local employment, so it will mean that these new homes will be aimed at commuters and not those who live and work in the Forest."
