Neighbours on a small private estate in Longhope have closed ranks against a plan to build a 'ghetto' of 16 affordable homes on their doorstep.
Two Rivers Housing Association intends to build the homes on the Wend, a quiet leafy cul-de-sac off Church Road.
The plan includes six, one bed flats, seven, two bed homes and
three, three bed homes – all to be classed as affordable.
