HE MOTHER of a 21-year-old girl who was hit by a car in Cinderford last week is calling on the authorities to make the zebra crossing where she suffered 'head-to-toe' injuries safer.
Jane Bernard, who lives in the town, was baffled as to why the pelican crossing was replaced and relived her own near-miss just days after her daughter, Sophie Copps, was taken to hospital.
