TWO men were seen running from a stolen car which had crashed into a pillar outside Clearwell Castle.

The silver Vauxhall Vectra belonging to a 22-year-old from St Briavels was taken from East Street in the village some time after 6pm on Friday.

Just before 10.30pm on the same evening, two males were seen running from the car, which had been abandoned in Church Road in Coleford, towards Clearwell Castle.

The car had collided with a pillar on the driveway of the castle.
