A 93-year-old man from Lydney is in a serious condition following a collision between a car and a mobility scooter last week.
A blue Ford Focus and a mobility scooter collided on Bathurst Park Road in Lydney at around 1.50pm on Thursday, February 14.
The man who was on the mobility scooter suffered what was initially believed to be non-serious injuries.
However following further medical checks his injuries are now considered serious and he remains in hospital for treatment.
The 73-year-old local woman who was driving the Ford Focus was uninjured.?Officers are appealing for witnesses who haven’t spoken to the force or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.?Anyone with information should call Gloucestershire Police on 101 and quote incident 201 of February 14.
