KEBAB shop owner Bilhan Tuncel has been remanded in custody after being accused of attempted murder in an alleged honour case.
The 32-year-old from the Marmaris takeaway in Mitcheldean appeared in court accused of attempting to murder a man in Bristol over the Spring bank holiday.
He is charged with attempting to kill Yakup Munduzon in Kingswood, Bristol on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30.
Tuncel was flanked by two security guards when he appeared in the dock at Yate Magistrates' Court.
Relatives sat in the public gallery as the court
heard the alleged incident involved a family
matter.
He spoke to confirm his name, age and address as the flat above the former Lloyds Bank, High Street, Mitcheldean.
He was remanded to appear at Bristol Crown Court on June 16.
