A POPULAR baby class provider that recently expanded into the Forest of Dean is marking its first Father’s Day in the region with a unique event designed to celebrate new dads and their families.

Mama & Me, which offers baby massage, yoga, and reflexology classes, is inviting families to a special Father’s Day session at Chamber 22 in Newent.

The event, led by midwife Lucy Gabb, is a chance to spend meaningful time together, create lasting memories, and enjoy a shared experience in a warm and welcoming environment.

The Father’s Day class is open to all families, including mums and dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles, and other loved ones. Each baby can be accompanied by up to two adults, and siblings are welcome to take part.

Mama & Me was founded by Kayleigh Spencer-Tonks in 2020 after she gave birth to her son Roman during the first Covid lockdown.

The experience of early motherhood in isolation led her to train in baby massage and yoga, and she launched the business to help others going through similar challenges.

Since then, more than 1,400 families have taken part in Mama & Me sessions across Gloucestershire, and the business has continued to grow, adding new sessions in Clearwell and Newent earlier this year.

To make the day even more special, families are encouraged to enjoy a full outing—perhaps a scenic walk around the lake in Newent or a bite to eat at a local pub—either before or after the session.

As Mama & Me continues to grow in the Forest, Mrs Spencer-Tonks remains committed to creating inclusive spaces where parents and carers can thrive—not only through physical activities, but through the emotional connections built in every class.

Those interested in joining the Father’s Day event can book a place through the Mama & Me website.
