THERE are reports of an accident near Yorkley Wood Road.

The RAC said Lydney Road is partially blocked in both directions due to an accident, initially reported around 6.40am.

Motorists are reporting via social media that vehicles are turning around.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called to a report of a two car collision on Lydney Road, Yorkley shortly after 6.20am this morning (Wednesday 15 July).

“Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured.”

In the latest update from the RAC at 9am, traffic is flowing well but the road is still partially blocked.
