A 53 year-old Lydney man has been ordered to pay a total of £1,188 in fines, costs and surcharges for driving without insurance.

Andrew Brown of Oldcroft near Lydney, was convicted by Cheltenham Magistrates under the Single Justice procedure of driving a LandRover on Northbrook Rd, Gloucester, on 1st July last year without insurance.

As well as the financial penalties he had six penalty points endorsed on his driving licence.
