A 13-year-old Lydney boy accused of causing suffering to a cat by picking it up and throwing it has been summoned to appear before Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Friday of this week (March 31).
The youngster, who cannot be identified, is accused of ill-treating the cat on September 1 last year in Lydney.
His case was listed to be heard on March 17 but did not go ahead and he was bailed unconditionally to attend on March 31 accompanied by his mother and a social worker.
He has not yet made a plea.
