A LONGHOPE man has been banned from the roads pending sentence for driving while almost four times over the legal alcohol limit in Gloucester last month.
At Cheltenham Magistrates Court, George Brinkworth, 26, of Ross Road, Longhope, admitted to driving a Nissan NV200 Llanthony Road on January 7 when he had 134 mcgs of alcohol on his breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
The magistrates imposed an interim driving ban and bailed Brinkworth until March 20 for a pre-sentence report.
