THE development of a new leisure complex at Five Acres has been described as a 'once in a generation' opportunity.

Gloucestershire College' s decision to relocate its Royal Forest of Dean campus to Cinderford's Northern Quarter means the Five Acres college site is up for grabs.

Key stakeholders have come together to form a cohesive masterplan and a five-day enquiry by Design Consultation was staged in October, hosted by the Homes and Community Agency, who acquired the site in March 2011.
