AN APPEAL to the Forest community to help improve the life of a Coleford man suffering from the effects of being bitten by an insect 10 years ago has been successful. Sean Tingle and his wife Lisa honeymooned in the Dominican Republic a decade ago, but on the Caribbean island Sean was bitten by an insect and he collapsed days later suffering from pneumonia, meningitis and other conditions. The effects of the bite has affected his health so badly that he has been left with no immune system, which affects his lungs and bowels, and he struggles to walk, leaving him confined to a hospital bed, which has since been installed into the living room at the couple's home.
