Almost 2,000 ultra low emission vehicles registered in the Forest of Dean – as campaigners group call for more equal access across UKDr Marion Andrews-Evans, one of Gloucestershire’s most experienced nurses, was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to nursing and health care, following nomination by the local community.
She said: “I’m delighted and proud to have been recognised for my contribution to nursing and healthcare in Gloucestershire. I hope that over the years I have worked in the county, I have made a small difference to the lives of local people and the staff providing our services.”
Marion dedicated 40 years to the industry, including Executive Chief Nurse until December 2023 and supporting research, development and vaccinations.
