NEWENT travellers have had another 11th- hour reprieve after claiming they need another two years to find a new home.
The gipsies were supposed to leave Southend Lane at the end of August after the council gave them 26 weeks to quit the site.
But the travellers said it was not long enough to move and have asked for more time.
Now the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol has granted a second public inquiry to hear their case.
