WORK to reopen a road in Whitecroft has suffered another setback due to a new water leak. However, Severn Trent Water believe the road will be restored and open from the end of this week.

Wayne Davie, managing director of Forest of Dean Tyres said: "It's affected us massively. It's severely affected most of the businesses in the village. "We were told it was going to take six weeks initially and now it's taken more than seven months. "We've not been notified about this further delay. The closure is killing local businesses."
