POLICE have made four more arrests amid concerns about under-age sex and anti-social behaviour near Newent Lake.
A 21-year-old man, and two boys aged 16 and 17, all from the town, were arrested on suspicion of rape. And a 21-year-old man from Coleford was also arrested. They are all in custody.
These latest arrests follow a police swoop at the end of November when three teenage youths from Newent were held on suspicion of rape and a 22-year-old Newent man on suspicion of sexual activity with a child.
An investigation was launched after concerns were raised about drug taking, under-age drinking and anti-social behaviour.
