FOREST rugby fans were treated to a final festival as Drybrook and Newent took over Twickenham on the weekend.

Newent tackled their tie against defending champions Baildon with style, lifting the National Junior Vase after a resounding 58-29 victory.

Fortunes were contrasting with Drybrook, however, as the Squirrels valiantly fought against a strong Selby side, eventually going down 29-25 in their National Senior Vase final.
