FLY-TIPPING in the Dean is on the rise according to the latest figures released by the Environment Agency.

The Forest is number two in the county for the illegal dumping of waste – including dangerous materials such as asbestos.

Glynn Bullock, Forestry Commission warden, said: "We've had quite a few incidents recently, just last Monday we had to clear some 60 tyres that had been dumped at Edge Hills.
