BUSINESSES across the Forest are feeling the pinch following some of the heaviest rains for years.
Builders, farmers, haulage contractors and tourist attractions say the miserable winter weather is having an impact on more than just the river levels.
Farmers continue to battle against the odds.
However, James Wakeley of the National Farmers' Union said Forest farmers escaped the worst because many of them were based on higher ground.
That's not the case for those close to the Severn or the Wye, though.
Richard Few, of High Cross Farm at Minsterworth, said: "The farm is completely underwater."
