BREAM Community Library will host a dramatic performance of Oh Whistle and I’ll Come to You, My Lad, one of the best-known ghost stories by renowned author M.R. James.

The event, presented by the acclaimed storytelling group the StoryMongers, will feature narration by Eddy Martin, accompanied by atmospheric live music composed and performed by Philip Gibbs.

The story tells the chilling tale of a discovery of an ancient whistle on a beach unleashes supernatural forces.

The performance will take place on Saturday, May 3 at Bream Community Library. Doors will open at 7.45pm.

Admission is free of charge, although voluntary donations will be gratefully received.

Organisers describe the event as a high-quality evening of classic storytelling and encourage members of the local community to attend.
