THE ever-popular St Briavels Carnival is returning with a lot on offer.
On Saturday, June 13, a fun day out will begin, with gates opening at 1pm.
The Carnival proceedings will start when floats and fancy dress competitors are invited to assemble at “The Tump” at 1.30pm.
A spokesperson for the event said: “This is a special day in our village’s calendar and every effort is made to make it an enjoyable one. Entrance is by programme only, at a cost of £1 per adult and 50p for children and concessions.”
The event will see performances by Gloucester Gladiator Scout Band, Chepstow Taekwon-do Club and Forest Thump Samba Band.
The licensed bar will be open in the Pavilion along with other refreshments.
