THE popular Faddle Fair is returning to Coleford this June, with organisers expecting its rebirth to be a fun-filled and exciting event.
From 10am to 4pm on Sunday, June 7, St John Street in Coleford will see a creative artisan street market, live music, arts, crafts and antiquities - alongside some tasty food and drink.
The event, sponsored by Coleford Town Council and in association with the Forest Flea-nomemon, is free to enter and free parking is available, so everyone can get involved and enjoy the day!
There will be six different bands to enjoy, 25 different local creative stalls, and plenty of fun activities in a family-friendly environment.
Becky Kendrick, organiser of the Faddle Fair said: “The event supports local artisan creatives. It’s a huge community event and we want to bring the creative community together. We’re very passionate about regenerating Coleford because the high streets are struggling so much at the moment.
“If you’re a creator who is too nervous to sell, please get in touch with us. We’re all about helping new creatives sell their wares.”

Becky, alongside a women-powered committee, organised the event from scratch and they hope to get plenty of support to help keep the Faddle Fair running. Two other Faddle Fair events are planned for this year too, with one on August 30 and the other on November 28, to coincide with Coleford’s Christmas lights switch-on event.
Becky also wanted to thank Coleford Town Council for its support when organising the rebirth of the Faddle Fair.
She said: “Without Coleford Town Council, this event would not be happening - but we need the support of the community to help keep it running!”
