A police mobile stand will be stationed at Coleford’s Market Place next month, in a bid to educate residents about the Neighbourhood Watch.

On Wednesday, June 3 between 10am to 12pm, residents can learn about the benefits of becoming a member of the Neighbourhood Watch.

It comes as part of National Neighbourhood Watch Week, held between June 1 and June 7, which recognises and thanks volunteers in local communities.

A Neighbourhood Watch spokesperson said: “We celebrate Neighbourhood Watch Week in June, as part of the Month of Community. It is an opportunity to bring our neighbourhoods closer, give back, and shine a light on our amazing work our members do. It's a month of community celebrations across the UK, as we get together to have fun and support various charities and causes.”
