IN RECENT days, the Forest of Dean has witnessed several delightful scenes involving ducks and their fluffy ducklings making their way across the roads.

Residents and drivers alike have been stopping to ensure these little families stay safe while navigating busy streets.

On the South Road in Broadwell, drivers have had to slow down to let the feathered families make their way across.

A heartwarming scene was also witnessed on the A40, near the Highnam roundabout, where drivers halted their vehicles to let a group of ducks safely cross.

“My faith in humanity was restored yesterday,” one observer shared, appreciating the kindness shown as everyone stopped to ensure the ducks made it across without harm.
