A 23-year-old Drybrook man who used a hand-held mobile phone while driving a tipper truck in Gloucester has been ordered to pay £387.99 in fines, costs and surcharges.

Magistrates at Cheltenham also endorsed Cameron Davies’ driving licence with six penalty points.

Davies, of Hillside Road, Drybrook, pleaded not guilty to using a phone while at the wheel of a Ford Transit tipper on the A40 Tewkesbury Road roundabout in Gloucester on 16th January this year but was convicted.
