A cannabis factory was discovered on Plump Hill after police were called to a suspected robbery.

Officers raced to the scene after receiving reports that two men were breaking into a cottage.

The householder is believed to have chased the offenders by road.

Cannabis from an outbuilding in the garden was loaded onto trailers and taken away on Monday night.
