DRIVER frustration and dangerous overtaking have been cited as the main causes of deaths on the A48.

The safety of the main trunk road, which runs through the Forest linking Wales and Gloucester, was discussed at Shire Hall this week by concerned county councillors.

Graham Morgan (Lab, Cinderford) said: "I tend to go to Gloucester through Huntley nowadays because when you drive down to the A48 you're conscious of things that have happened there."
