LIEUTENANT Daniel Clack from 1Rifles has been killed by hidden explosives while on patrol in Afghanistan.

He is the fourth Rifleman to die since April. The 24-year-old Lieutenant was killed on Friday as his 10-man patrol was on its way to the village of Dactran. Five other soldiers were injured.
