TEEN musician Georgie Henderson could be the Forest's answer to Jane McDonald.

The Lydney student became a hit with passengers after taking to the piano while on a cruise.

Now she has been invited to perform at private parties around the world, make a record in America and audition for a job on the liners.

Gloucestershire College student Georgie accompanied her aunty on a cruise to Singapore as a reward for doing well with her studies.

The 17-year-old was devastated when her plans to informally busk on the deck of Voyager of the Seas were dashed after her guitar was damaged at the airport.

But the music student could not resist tinkling the ivories in the Schooner lounge and singing along to the resident band in the main venue.

After being invited on stage to appear with both, she was such a hit with audiences that she ended up making near nightly appearances.

"It was amazing, the chance of a lifetime," said Georgie.
