A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a 27-year-old convicted sex offender accused of assaulting a paramedic in Cinderford.

Lewis Trenchard, of no fixed address, was due before Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court this week to face charges of assault on an emergency worker and breaching a sex offender order.

But he did not attend court and the magistrates issued an arrest warrant without bail.

Trenchard has not yet entered pleas to either of the charges against him: that he breached his sex offender order on 18th August 2026 by failing to notify a change of address and that on 16th Sept this year he assaulted the male paramedic who was at the time acting in the exercise of his duties as a paramedic.
