Being caught in possession of herbal cannabis in Cinderford last year has cost 34-year-old William Haines £247 in fines and court costs.

Haines, of Woodside Street, Cinderford, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court to illegal possession of 200grams of the drug on 15th November 2025.

The court ordered forfeiture and destruction of the cannabis and fined Haines £162. The magistrates also ordered him to pay costs of £85.
