A 61-year-old Cinderford man who drove while over the legal limit for a cocaine-related drug has been banned from the roads for a year.

Kevin Holford of Belle Vue Road, Cinderford, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court to driving an MG3 on St Ann Way, Gloucester, on 20th December 2025 when he had excess Benzoylecgonine in his blood. The drug is a metabolite of cocaine.

Holford was banned from driving for a year, fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge,
