CLEARWELL and Sling Scout Group is facing a critical shortage of leadership and is appealing for new volunteers to step in and prevent the closure of their Cubs section.

The group is urgently looking for individuals to fill several key roles, including a Group Lead Volunteer, a Cub Section Team Leader, and a Group Membership Coordinator.

The Cubs section, which meets on Thursday evenings, is an essential part of the community, and without fresh leadership, the group risks losing this valuable programme.

The Scout Group is now calling on anyone with an interest in working with children and taking on a new challenge to consider volunteering.
