CINDERFORD closed out the season on a derby-winning high, while Lydney's once promising campaign fell away disappointingly.

Put into bat, Lydney were bowled out for 149 with Jon Bowdler top scoring on 38 and Jake Bonser making 21. Richard Henry led the St John's attack with 3-38 but he was well supported by Jordan Warren, who claimed 2-16 as well as a couple of catches, and Julian Kibble (2-29). Mark Roberts polished off the Lydney tail with a spell of 3-30.

Eddie Ruck and Richard Henry started solidly for Cinderford with the bat, before a run out curtailed Ruck's innings. The impressive Henry batted on for a rapid 68, with Nigel Cartwright (22) and Richie Goldring (20 not out) seeing the job through in just 31.2 overs.
