A CINDERFORD man was handed eight points on his license for driving without insurance.

Cosmin-Dumitru Poisvanti, 21, of High Street, Cinderford, has had the penalty points endorsed on his licence by Cheltenham magistrates.

He was also fined £660 and ordered to pay £156 costs and surcharges for driving a Saab car on Church st, Cinderford, on April 19 this year with no third party insurance policy in force.
