A superb 66th minute free-kick from Paul Taplin secured Thatcham Town a 1-1 draw with Cinderford Town in Tuesday night's Southern League clash.
The Foresters took the lead six minutes before the break through Nick McCootie.
They created more than enough chances to win the game with O'Connor, Miller, McCootie and Billing all going close.
The best chance of all fell to Lewis Sommers, but he squandered the close range opportunity.
Town boss Paul Weeks said: "To be fair to Lewis he's doing extremely well for us, but it was an absolute sitter.
"We should have had a penalty as well.
"In my mind it was two points dropped, but we can't complain about taking seven points out of the last nine. It was one of those nights – we had to drive there ourselves, got there late, only had two fit subs and it was freezing cold. A point is not so bad."
