CHUNKY arm knitting workshops will return to the Forest of Dean this autumn, giving beginners the chance to create their own blanket.

The sessions will take place at Tudor Farmhouse in Clearwell on Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, November 7.

Participants will learn how to knit a chunky blanket using their arms instead of traditional knitting needles, with no previous experience required.

The workshops are suitable for anyone aged 10 and over, with participants able to choose between 2kg of vegan-friendly acrylic or hypoallergenic Merino wool in a colour of their choice.

All materials and tuition are included, alongside cakes and a hot drink.

Everyone attending will leave the workshop with their completed chunky blanket.
