A VILLAGE GP surgery was almost brought to its knees by thieving practice manager Sharon Head, a court heard.

Staff at the Newnham and Westbury surgery suffered pay freezes and the two GP partners took a salary cut because Head overpaid herself by more than £95,000, Gloucester Crown Court was told.
