MILLIONAIRE businessman John Thurston spent more than a penny when his Porsche collided with a public loo in Lydney.
Police got wind of the crash after reports came through that a grey Porsche Cayman was embedded in the wall of the disused public facilities in the car park off Bream Road.
A smaller wall in front of the toilets was also destroyed by the £40,000 sports car at around 1pm on Sunday after it "lurched forward" according to the driver.
Watts Group chief and Deputy Lord Lieutenant John Thurston, 71, who was believed to be driving the car, was uninjured in the collision.
His passenger was thought to be his 59-year-old wife Mary who also escaped injury.
The Porsche appeared to have been leaving the Watts Group headquarters in the High Street when the drama occurred.
As it was being driven out of the car park into Bream Road the vehicle shot across both lanes of the road and crashed into the wall.
The road was closed for a short time and the Porsche was recovered at about 5pm.
