A LOCAL businessman has warned that if the wild boar situation is not resolved he would move out of the Forest, jeopardising the livelihoods of 30 to 40 families.

The man from Moseley Green, who does not wished to be named for fear of reprisal, said that when he originally moved to the Forest he lived a tranquil life, but now his lawn resembles that of a ploughed field, without a single blade of grass left.

The businessman added: "We can't go on living in fear of the wild boar and I can only see it getting worse.

"Electric fences have been put up in this area to secure the land, but even this measure has been vandalised.
