COUNCILLOR Bruce Hogan has stepped down as leader of the Labour group on the Forest of Dean District Council.
The leader, who only recently resumed the post again after a period of ill health, admitted the decision was sparked by policy differences.
Cinderford Councillor Di Martin is standing in for Coun Hogan until a new leader is elected.
Coun Hogan declined to discuss the reasons for his resignation which came after a Labour group meeting to discuss policies such as car parking charges.
