BEN Dubberley, 39, of All Saints Road. Awre, has been ordered to pay £816 in fines, costs and surcharges, for failing to notify Gloucestershire Police who was driving a BMW car on the A40 Golden Valley by-pass when it was allegedly speeding at more than the 70mph limit.

He also had six penalty points endorsed on his licence by Cheltenham magistrates after they found the case against him proved.

The charge was that between May 9 and June 8 this year he did not tell police who was the driver of the car which was allegedly speeding on the dual cariageway between Gloucester and Cheltenham on April 29.
