A 22-year-old Cinderford man 'snapped' during a row about £10 with his sister and attacked her in front of three terrified children, a court heard.
Callum Lumber grabbed sister Jessica Howard's face and squeezed so hard she thought her spectacles would break.
She curled up in a ball on the sofa to protect herself as he punched her in the face and then headbutted her, Gloucester Crown Court was told.
It happened in front of their two younger sisters, aged nine and five, and a foster sister, aged 13, who all fled to teh bathroom during the attack at the family home in Cinderford, said prosecutor Julian Kesner.
