A 28-year-old Lydney woman who drove while over the limit for cannabis has been banned from the roads for a year and ordered to pay a total of £239.

Kerry Morgan of Lees Court, Lydney, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on New Year’s Day to driving a Vauxhall on Morse Road, Drybrook on May 20 with an illegal level of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in her blood.

She also admitted possession of approximately one gram of cannabis

The magistrates disqualified her from driving for a year, fined her £120, ordered her to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £34 victim services surcharge and destruction of the cannabis.
