POLICE are appealing to the public for information on three thefts from boats in Lydney.

The vessels were broken into at Lydney Yacht Club on Harbour Road between 7.30pm on Sunday March 27 and 4pm on Tuesday April 5.

In the first incident, which is thought to have happened between the above dates and times, entry was forced into the white leisure boat before a Vision GPS chart plotter and case worth several hundred pounds were stolen.

The next incident occurred at some point between 5pm on Saturday April 2 and 11am on Tuesday April 5. Offenders gained entry to the secured boat and took a 15in flat screen TV and socket set.

The third incident happened between 3pm on Sunday April 3 and 11am on Tuesday April 5. Offenders forced entry to the craft through a secure door. Once the offenders were aboard they took a number of items of clothes, various tools, a marine SatNav system and some groceries.
