POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash on a Forest road last week.

Emergency services were called out to the scene of a single vehicle collision on Beach Lane near Bromsberrow Heath in the early hours of Friday morning (April 8).

The driver of a Honda PCX 125 motorbike, a man in his 30s from the Ledbury area, was treated at the scene but sadly passed away.

Police said his next of kin were made aware and were being supported by specially trained officers.

The road was closed for around 8 hours whilst an examination of the area was carried out by Forensic Collision Investigators.

A statement from Gloucestershire Constabulary said: “Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to police and has information they feel may be relevant.

“As well as this anyone who has dashcam or CCTV footage which shows the motorcycle in the lead up to the collision is also asked to make contact.”
