A MAN will appear in court today after being charged in connection with two burglaries in Churcham.
John Maguire, aged 45, of no fixed abode, was charged in relation with the offences and is appearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court today, Wednesday February 3.
The charges are in connection with an incident on Friday December 18 when a cottage was targeted and jewellery stolen during daytime hours.
In the second incident, on the afternoon of Sunday December 20, homeowners returned to their bungalow in the village to discover it had been broken into and two men running from the scene.
Maguire attended Compass House in Gloucester yesterday, Tuesday February 2, where he remained in custody.
Police issued an appeal to speak with him about two burglaries in Churcham in December.
