A MAN suffered head wounds and other injuries after being robbed by five men after leaving a pub in Lydney on Wednesday night.

The 18-year-old man had left the Greyhound Inn and was walking home along Newerne Street when he was attacked by a group of around five males at around 11.30pm on April 6.

During the attack the man’s wallet, some trainers and car keys to his blue Fiesta were taken.

He later discovered the car had also been stolen although it was recovered in Lydney on April 7.

The man was treated at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for wounds to his head, a swollen eye, bump to the head and bruised ribs.
