National League One
London Scottish 29
Cinderford 11
LONDON Scottish went top of National League One with this bonus point victory – their 19th in a row.
However, they had to work hard to overcome a spirited Cinderford display.
The first half was even, but the Foresters suffered from losing both Matt Betty and Sam Wilkes to the sin-bin inside 25 minutes.
Betty failed to release in the tackle close to his own line, while Wilkes was guilty of pulling down a maul.
Tries from David Howells, Tim Holgate and a Craig Radford conversion gave Scottish a 12-6 half-time advantage, with Trigg kicking two penalties in reply.
It was the last quarter of the match before the Exiles finally began to take control with tries from Lewis Calder, John Bordiss and a second from Holgate.
The visitors did have the consolation of the last score when winger Matt Betty crossed for an unconverted try right on the final whistle.
